Job Title: Senior Penetration Tester
Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Senior Penetration Tester to join our cybersecurity team. This role involves conducting advanced penetration tests to assess and enhance the security of our systems and applications.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive penetration tests on web applications, networks, and systems.
Utilize both automated tools and manual techniques to identify vulnerabilities.
Exploit vulnerabilities to assess the impact and provide actionable recommendations.
Prepare detailed reports outlining findings and recommended remediation steps.
Collaborate with development and IT teams to enhance security measures.
Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on complex security issues.
Stay current with industry trends and developments in penetration testing methodologies.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 5 years of experience in penetration testing and vulnerability assessment.
Proficiency with penetration testing tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, etc.
Deep understanding of web application security vulnerabilities (SQLi, XSS, CSRF, etc.).
Experience with scripting and programming languages (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation and tool development.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
Relevant certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, CISSP, or similar are preferred.
